The ground is hard and unforgiving. I replaced combat boots with this shoe and the relief was instant.There was no break-in time and after three weeks of wear they feel as good as they did on the first day. I wear these shoes for about 16 hours per day. I can comfortably wear these with the laces loose walking around short distances. They are light and cool in 115-120 degree heat. The shoe is a trail runner, so they may not be suitable for terrain where you need high ankle support. On a thick layer of small rocks, my feet are comfortable and secure. There are no signs of breakdown on the shoe and they are holding up exceptionally well. Not only is it light weight and comfortable but it is able to handle the toughest of trails. Just finished a 30 mile trek from Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley traveling through snow, water, mud and rocks including an almost 6000 ft verticle descent and my feet were comfortable and dry the whole way. |
