Primary use: work. Standing, walking. 8+ hours a day standing, 225 lbs, previous leg and ankle injuries. VERDICT: Good support throughout. Amazing ride. Good correction. FitSole did a great job adapting to to arch, and transferring the ride to the mid-sole. Very breathable mesh upper. Feedback on the split mid-sole was, in fact, a bit like trampoline in my shoes. This gave back a good portion of the energy exerted in the step. Disappointed they only lasted for as long as they did at the cost (89$), but made a retail holiday season a breeze. When I'd finally worn the bottoms from my natural pronation, I could feel the variance pretty quickly (sore knees within two weeks). Considering these encountered trips to Vegas, Disney, and daily non-work use, I would buy from the Lunar line again. Pros: Good for daily wear-and-tear, casual work, long shifts on your feet. I was so impressed that I got a second pair on Amazon to save another drive to Stanford, so I can delay the wear on my original pair, and for a discount on Amazon. I have worn it for over 6 months for both work and for exercise, with unchanging comfortable support and no evidence of wear (in support). Compared to other shoes that hurt my low-arch feet after a long day, these are very comfortable at the end of the day. Also noticeably very breathable so my feet feel relative cool when exercising. I plan on getting a 3rd pair for indoor exercise use only. Not the most expensive but the most comfortable Nike running shoes I've bought. Definitely worth the money! |
